Leewyn turns an Android phone into a kid-safe phone by making Leewyn the device owner and enforcing rules — app allowlisting, adult-content blocking, and blocking of known bypass routes such as VPNs, proxies, sideloading tools, and alternative browsers — locally, on the device itself.

• Scope of Service: We provide the technical platform and the device-owner enforcement it relies on. We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party apps that are allowed, blocked, or reviewed through Leewyn.
• App requests and review: When your child requests an app, it goes through automated review and, where needed, human review, to help you decide whether it's appropriate. This is provided to support your decision as a parent — it does not replace your own judgment about what is appropriate for your child, and you can always allow or block anything yourself from your parent account.
• Updates: We reserve the right to further develop the Services to ensure security and functionality, particularly to keep pace with new bypass methods and platform changes.
• Analytics (Plausible, PostHog) and advertising (Reddit Pixel): We use Plausible and PostHog on our public website to measure website traffic, page views, and conversion events, and — only once you've accepted cookies — the Reddit Pixel to measure ad performance. See our Privacy Policy for details on what the Leewyn app itself does and does not collect.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com.

• Merchant of Record: Paddle.com (Paddle Payments Ltd. or Paddle.com Market Ltd.) is the "Merchant of Record" for all our orders. Paddle is your contractual partner for the payment process and issues the invoice. For payment processing, taxes, and invoicing, Paddle's Checkout Terms apply.
• Plans: Leewyn is sold as a recurring subscription, priced per child (single-child plan) or as a flat family plan covering every child in the household, each billed either monthly or yearly at the rate shown at checkout on leewyn.com.
• Refund Policy: In accordance with Paddle's Buyer Terms, you have a 14-day period to request a refund for your purchase. See Section 3 ("Consumer Right to Cancel") for how to exercise this right.
• Subscriptions: Paid subscriptions automatically renew — monthly or yearly, matching the billing interval you chose — until cancelled. You may cancel at any time via the link in your receipt or by contacting Paddle. There are no refunds on unused subscription periods after a renewal has processed; the 14-day right to cancel applies only to the initial subscription purchase.

If you are a consumer (purchasing for personal use), you have the right to cancel this agreement within 14 days without giving any reason.

• Cancellation period: The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day following completion of the transaction.
• How to cancel: To exercise your right to cancel, inform Paddle of your decision — the fastest way is via the Paddle Buyer Support Team, linked from your receipt email.
• Subscription exception: For subscriptions, this right applies only to the initial purchase, not to each automatic renewal.

You may also use the model cancellation form below and send it to Paddle, though contacting Paddle's Buyer Support Team directly is faster:

• Warranty: Statutory warranty provisions apply, particularly under the VGG for digital services. We warrant that the Services meet the contractually agreed or objectively required characteristics.
• Limitation of liability: We are liable without limitation for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, and for damages based on intent or gross negligence.
• Slight negligence: In cases of slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of a material contractual obligation — one whose fulfillment is essential to the proper execution of the contract.
• Specific disclaimer (device-owner enforcement): We are not liable for missed notifications, malfunction of apps affected by device-owner enforcement or blocking (including emergency-call, medical, or school apps), or data loss arising from app blocking or the device-owner lock. It is your responsibility, as the parent or guardian managing the account, to allowlist any app you consider critical.

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the parent or legal guardian of the child using the managed device, or are otherwise legally authorized to install device-management software on that device;
• Your registration information is truthful and current;
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement; and
• You will not use the Services for any illegal purpose.

All content within the Services — code, design, logos, and text — is the property of ToModern e.U. or its licensors. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for personal use for the term of your subscription.

We reserve the right to modify these T&C to adapt to legal or technical changes. We will notify you of changes at least 30 days in advance by email. If you do not object within that period, the new T&C are deemed accepted. If you object, we may terminate the contractual relationship at the earliest possible date.

• Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Austria, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
• Jurisdiction: For commercial entities, the place of jurisdiction is Vienna. For consumers, the statutory place of jurisdiction applies — usually your place of residence.
• Online dispute resolution: The EU Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to participate in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
